LIGHT (Living In God’s Holiness Today)
Our middle and high school ministries are set up to provide our youth with an opportunity to learn and equip the foundations of our faith from God’s Word all while building quality relationships with one another. Having a firm foundation in God’s Word and understanding how it can impact every aspect of our life today is what we want every young man and woman to possess when they enter into adulthood.
Our youth (middle and high school 6-12th grade) meet every Wednesday night from 6-7:30pm at Charles and Carol Coffey's home (map).
Sunday Morning Bible Study
On Sunday morning we have a combined class for middle and high school students and meets from 9-10am every Sunday morning. It is a relaxed time to catch up for the week and study the Bible.
Serving Our Community
A growing faith is an active, serving faith. Over the course of the year, we provide opportunities to serve our community – to be the hands and feet of Jesus. This is our way to show the world Jesus’ love.
Retreats and Missions Trips
Throughout the year we have retreats that spend time focusing on building one another up in the Lord and serving our world. The activities and places vary year to year, but each year our youth come back having impacted the world for Jesus and having been impacted by their opportunity to serve.
Momentum National Youth Conference
Each summer our youth travel to our church fellowship’s national youth conference, Momentum. It is a time when youth from around the country get together to learn about living for, loving and serving God. It is a blast and it will be a time where youth are challenged to grow in their faith and in their friendships with one another.
OB is a summer mission training opportunity for high school students. Students from around the United States team up together to share their faith through puppets, music, clowning, drama, public performance, testimonies, acts of service and evangelism to encourage churches around the country and spread the good news and love of Jesus.
All volunteer staff working with children under the age of 18 have approved background checks and have committed to following our Guidelines for Children and Youth.
